Waiter pays the dinner of US journalist on the Independence Day, because 'America saved Kosovo'

 Nolan Peterson, a US journalist is surprised today in Pristina.

A foreign journalist is surprised in Pristina on Sunday when he went to a cafe to dine while was being celebrated the eleventh anniversary of the Independence of Kosovo .

Nolan Peterson works as a correspondent for "The Daily Signal", he has shown on his Facebook profile of how in a cafe in Kosovo's capital is not allowed to pay:

 Today Kosovo celebrated 11 years of independence. Before the parade, I had lunch at a cafe in Pristina.

When I asked for the check the waiter simply smiled and said, "It's on the house."

I asked why.

"Your country saved mine," he said. "The least I can do is buy you lunch."
