Basha: We do not recognise the Albanian Police; Civil Disobedience from the South to the North

Lulzim Basha today in front of DP headquarters

The leader of the Democratic Party (DP) of Albania, Lulzim Basha spoke from DP headquarters to supporters after the closing of the protest in front of the Assembly this evening, which was accompanied by tensions and the Police had thrown several times tear gas against those protesters who attempting to break the cord.

Basha said that the opposition will not recognize the Police exercising violence against the citizens and that the civil disobedience will stretch from the South to the North.

"We showed to 'Nicolás Maduro' of the Balkans and all the world that this country has its master. Today Edi Rama used blind violence to citizens who protested in peace. Today, Edi Rama used violence and action against citizens protesting in peace. Today, we have no Assembly, we have no Government and unfortunately we have no Police. We have a bunch of robbers and criminals who have stolen Albania.

Let's send this message to every citizen tonight, that we no longer recognise not just the Government of the crime but also the Police of the crime. The Civil Disobedience will extend from the South to the North and we will liberate this country. Anyone in uniform, with the eyes  of the analyzer or on oligarch costume that is close to this gang, is a traitor to his people, is a traitor of the interests of ordinary citizens, and will be treated as a traitor of the ordinary citizens. United as ever, Democrats and Socialists, Muslims and Christians continue our path towards the European democracy." Basha said.
