Albanian Prime Rama sends the President Ilir Meta to Constitutional Court

 Along with the information that Prime Minister Edi Rama gave to President Ilir Meta on Monday for Sandër Lleshi, the Socialists have decided to go to the Constitutional Court on the same day asking to this institution to interpret whether the The President of Albania, Ilir Meta in this case, has the right to not decree a minister.

The request for the interpretation of the Constitution was announced a few days ago even by Edi Rama himself, who estimated that it is necessary to avoid precedents with other presidents, because, as he said, he and Ilir Meta will be understood.

Composed by two members actualy, he Constitutional Court practically is out of the question, but Rama made it clear that he  is not hurry and that is waiting for the answer when the Court be funcional, so this case wull not be repeated in the future.

But in the open debate whether a president has the right to reject the Prime Minister's proposal for a cabinet member, the attitudes are different.

Alfred Moisu, who as President has often had reservations about the proposals made by Prime Ministers of the time - Nano and Berisha - advises to Rama and Meta to sit down and talk in order to avoid crises.

The day before, the President announced that he was considering the candidacy of Sandër Lleshi, who did not convinced him initially.
