The Parade of Pride has started, organized by the LGBT community and its supporters in Pristina, Kosovo. Before the starting of this parade, Kosovo Police has taken measures for the security of their members.
The Parade of Pride started at 11:30 at "Skenderbeu" Square and ended in "Zahir Pajaziti" Square in Pristina. After the parade is over, a speech will be held about the event and will end with a brief concert.So far public persons has been of the parade, such as Minister Dhurata Hoxha, MP from the PSD, Frashër Krasniqi, and the analyst Dardan Islami. Likewise, the singer Adelina Ismaili, as she had warned, kept her promise by participating in the 'Parade of Pride'.
The moto "In the name of Freedom" requires freedom of expression, freedom to be safe, different freedom of identity and sexuality, non-discrimination and freedom of confidentiality.
