Czech Republic promises to Kosovo support for liberalization, Interpol and UNESCO

 The Czech Republic supports visa liberalization for the citizens of Kosovo and the European integration agenda. Will also support Kosovo's membership in Interpol and UNESCO.

This stance is expressed yesterday in Prague by the President of the Czech Senate, Milan Stech, in a meeting with the Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, Kadri Veseli.

The Office of the Speaker of Kosovo announces that Veseli thanked his counterpart for the support that Czech Republic has given to Kosovo for years in the process of state-building, but even now, in the integration processes.

He stressed that Kosovo citizens expect that within this year the visas with be removed for the Schengen area, once the criteria for liberalization have already been met.

In this meeting were discussed also the relations between Kosovo and the Czech Republic and the possibilities of cooperation, especially between the two parliaments but also in the field of economy.

Czech Senate Chairman Milan Stech has voiced the support for Kosovo's European agenda, in particular for visa liberalization. He has also expressed readiness to deepen cooperation between parliaments.
