Shkodra Lake EU pilot zone for ecosystem development

The Shkodra Lake is a pilot area for scholars who will work to create models for ecosystem services to be built in European Union and used steadily without hindering the fishermens, farmers, beekeepers or tourists while preserving the biodiversity of the area.

The Adriatic-Ionian countries have come together to discuss common strategies for the protection of ecosystems and sustainable use of services as the main objective of the IMPRECO project.

The Albanian Development Fund, the partner institution for Albania in this project that brings together Italy, Croatia, Greece and Slovenia is funded by the European Union ADRION program.
