Some property was seized on behalf of the Habilaj brothers in Vlora. About 31 properties worth several million euros. In fact the blocked properties like; fuel, Bars and Restaurants and flats were seized in November last year with a decision of the Vlora prosecutor's office, but today the measure is imposed by Serious Crimes in cooperation with the State Police under anti-mafia law, as the Habilaj brothers are under investigation for drug trafficking.
Some of the sequestrated properties-Service Area 157 m2, located in "28 Nentori" neighborhood, Vlora, owned by the company Turi & Mzb shpk and Florian Habilaj.
- Service area with a surface of 136 m2, in the neighborhood "29 Nentori", Vlora, owned by Florian Habilaj.
-A residential apartment in Vlora, owned by citizen Artan Habilaj.
-Apartment of 69 m2, in the "Cold Water" neighborhood, owned by K.H.
-Apartment with a surface of 104.5 m2 in Vlora, owned by F.M.
-Service and residential property, with a surface of 156 m2, in Vlora, owned by Artan Habilaj.
The sequestrated assets are owned by Artan and Florian Habilaj, while there is no property on behalf of Moisi Habilaj. The latter is arrested in Italy after being caught with 800 kg of cannabis on the Italian coast last year.
The Habilaj-led drug group was intercepted by Italian authorities since 2013, who have documented numerous evidence of Habilaj's involvement in Albania-Italy drug trafficking network.
