Turkey issues extradition requests to 24 states for 54 Gülenists: Nevzat Ayvaci is the wanted in Albania

The Supreme Court in Turkey issued a number of extradition requests for 54 Fethullah Gülen network members worldwide.

Requests were sent to 24 states, including Albania.

According to the Turkish news agency Anatolia, Turkish justice demands from the Albanian authorities the capture and handing over of the Turkish citizen Nevzat Ajvaci.

He is a member of the council of the FETO organization - as the Turkish agency described.

Nearly half of the wanted are in the US.

Among the 25 names for which extradition is sought is Fethullah Gülen, network leader and political opponent No. 1 of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

For 19 years he has been on the run in the Pennsylvania Federal State, demanded by Turkish justice for a series of accusations, including corruption and ultimately terrorism. Erdoğan accused him as organizer of the failed coup of the state of July 2016.

The extradition request was also sent to the German, British, Dutch, Belgian, Israeli, African and Asian authorities.

Six Gülenists were captured in a covert operation last week in Kosovo.

While Greek media alert that the 8 Turkish soldiers sought by Ankara as putschists, may be killed by Turkish secret services in a secret operation like that in Kosovo.
