The Full Request of the Serious Crimes Prosecution OfficeThe Prosecution for Serious Crimes requests from the Parliament of Albania the authorization to remove the immunity of the deputy Saimir Tahiri, following an investigation initiated for the criminal offenses of "narcotics trafficking" carried out in cooperation, in the special form of the structured criminal group and "Passive Corruption of Senior State Officials and Local Election Officials" provided by articles 283 / a / 2 and 260 of the Criminal Code.
The Serious Crimes Prosecution is investigating, in collaboration with Italian authorities, a criminal group that has trafficked large quantities of narcotic cannabis sattiva from Albania to Italy.
Based on the data obtained in the framework of this investigation, the Serious Crimes Prosecution requests from the Mandate Committee in the Assembly of Albania the issuing of the authorization for the arrest, the remove of liberty and the control of the apartment of the deputy Saimir Tahiri.
