9 Albanians arrested in Milano relating to drug trafficking

Two families leading drug trafficking of large quantities have been arrested by Italian police.

The Carabinieri of the Milan Provincial Command have executed in Legnano and in the provinces of Vares and Turin an arrest warrant of the Prosecution of Busto Arstizio relating to 10 persons, nine of whom Albanians and an Italian aged 22 to 54 who are charged with possessing narcotics like cocaine, marijuana and heroin, Italian media writes.

The Arrests comes after an investigation of two families operating in Volla Cortese and San Giorgio su Legnano in Milan accused of drug trafficking and distribution.

During the investigation that lasted for about 8 months, a book was seized with the financial accounts of criminal activity.

The book's analysis and subsequent investigations have revealed that the drug sold by this band had brought about 2 million euros in revenue. So a thriving business with dirty work stretching across Legnano./Oculus News
