 Greek lawyer and two businessmen part of Albanian cannabis gang, Greek media say

 A few days ago a broad anti-drug operation took place on the waters of the Ionian Sea, including the commitment of the three countries, Albania, Italy and Greece to capture a large amount of drug which was thrown into the sea by traffickers.

It is about drug trafficking among Greece, Albania and Italy in order to sell it later in Europe.

In total four Greeks and five Albanians were arrested, according to Greek newspaper 'Protothema'.

Greek media reports today that among the arrested persons are a known Greek lawyer from Piraeus and two brothers, renowned entrepreneur and offspring of rich families Athens.

These Greegs and Albanians are among nine defendants in the case of the traffic of 1.5 tonnes of cannabis discovered in Italy, Albanian newspaper 'Panorama' writes.

The judicial authorities are continuing investigations and perhaps will be engaged even financial crime to identify the route of dirty money, Panorama writes.

Moreover will be reviewed and the possibility of this group if it is connected to a jihadist cell, which was dismantled in March.

And in this case the leader was an Albanian who that by March 2, 2017 managed to avoid being arrested.
