A 9-year-old Albanian from Montreal, Canada, became the champion in Quebec in the competition of mathematics, THALES for 2016.
Kevin Bajraktari, the son of the doctor Andy Bajraktari from Shkodra, finished among the first 15 of more than 6,000 participants in the national competition in Canada for 2016.
This competition, which is designed for third grade children, is organized by the Centre of Mathematics Contests of North America which organises some competitions of the highest level of mathematics in North America.Since 1990, more than a million students in Canada and the United States have participated in these competitions.
