Greece is guilty. Remember the genocide of 100,000 ethnic Albanian victims

 "Greece is guilty. Remember the genocide of 100,000 ethnic Albanian victims ", it is this banner that featured some Albanians fans in Lens stadium during the meeting Albania - Switzerland that caused a backlash of the Greek Foreign Ministry.

Through a press release, the Minister considered this a provocative and monstrous act and blamed UEFA, that took no measures to prevent the emergence of such provocative slogans.

"The displaying of the banner with provocative and inflammatory content in  Albania - Switzerland match is a shameful act. This provocation violates the rules of UEFA, which is responsible for preventing the occurrence of provocative slogans and must immediately take measures to punish those who are responsible," reads the official statement of the Foreign Ministry.

As noted in the statement, the Greek government asked to UEFA and French organizers an explanation for this incident, how is inserted inside the stadium this provocative banner, despite increased security measures.

The notice also states that is also required a response from the Albanian Government, from which Athens expects to condemn this unacceptable and provocative act.

Finally, the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that such acts made by marginal groups who oppose rapprochement between Greece and Albania.
