Cocaine trafficking, 15 years in prison for the Colombian Triana

At the end of 26 hearings behind closed doors, the Serious Crimes Court announced the decision to the Colombian Cesar Triana.

Judicial bodies gave the same punishment of 15 years in prison, sought by the prosecution pretensions. The Colombian Triana had come to our country to take about 1 million euros to give these euros to two other Colombians who were trafficking cocaine of drugs from Latin America to Europe.

He was arrested in Rinas Airport as he was leaving Albania, after being informed that a consignment of 246 kg of cocaine was trapped in Montenegro, while about the transport firm, came out is not involved in the traffic. This, after a judicial investigation had proved that the Albanian firms commissioned bananas in Ecuador and was not involved in international drug trafficking ring.

The capture of this size of cocaine sparked fierce debate between the opposition and government two years ago, allegedly the Government had leaked the action in order to conceal the principal, while the Police themselves stated tha the drug intended to go to Italy from Montenegrin ports.
