Tirana homages to victims of Brussels terror attacks

In the premises of the National Museum of History on Wednesday afternoon are held homage to victims of terrorist attacks in Brussels.

The homages were organized by representative of the Benelux countries in Tirana, Jurgen Van Meirvenne and French Ambassador in Tirana, Bernard Fitoussi.

Present in homage were Vice / Minister of Foreign Affairs, Selim Belortaja, Deputy / Minister of Internal Affairs Elona Gjebrea, and the ambassadors of EU countries accredited in Albania, representatives from the EU Delegation in Tirana, OSCE as well as MPs and citizens, Albanian Telegraphic Agency reports.

Homage in honor of victims of the terrorist attacks in Brussels are joined by Prime Minister, who lowered to half-mast the Albanian and Belgium flags and illuminated the front wall of Prime Ministry with the colors of the flag Belgium honoring the victims.

Tuesday's attacks at Metro and Airport of Brussels recorded 34 people dead and 270 injured, according to latest official balance sheet published by the Belgian Federal Prosecutor's Office.
