Minister of Agriculture of Kuwait, Ali Saleh Al-Omair, was on an official visit in Tirana, where today had a meeting with his Albanian counterpart Edmond Panariti. Between two countries also is signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of agriculture.
Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Administration of Albania, Edmond Panariti and his counterpart from Kuwait held a press conference.
Panariti during his speech said that the relations between Albania and Kuwait are recognizing more and more developments in many areas."This visit has to do with promoting more cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture. Our two countries by a memorandum have set benchmarks of cooperation in the field of agriculture and rural development," said Panariti.
While the Minister of Agriculture of Kuwait, Ali Saleh Al-Omair, said that relations with Albania and Kuwait are old and the Albanian Government has a special place in the Kuwaiti head of state.
He further stressed that: "The result of this cooperation, so between the two countries was today was also the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of agriculture and fisheries. Albania has great potential in agriculture and in various areas of livestock which will have a special importance between the two countries ".
