The coach of Albanian national team Gianni De Biasi won today the prestigious prise "Panchina D'oro 2016 " (Golden bench) by Italian Football Federation (FIGC).
In a ceremony held today at the Center of National Teams of Italy, in Cioverciano (Florence), with the motivation: "For spreading the values of the Italian coaches school in the world."
According Albanian Football Federation, the ceremony was organized by the Technical Department of the Italian Federation led by Gianni Rivera and Italian Trainers School lead by Renzo Uliveri. Albanian national team coach has been recognized for his achievements for leading the Albanian team. For 5 years he did a great job with the Albanian national team, creating a compact group of players. This work culminated in the achievement of the second place in qualifying group for European Championship . Albania's qualification for the finals of the "France 2016", has attracted the Italian media and experts, European and wider.Gianni de Biasi was born in 1956 in Sarmede, Treviso.
As a coach, he has led Vasteze, Carpi, Cozenza, SPAL, Modena, Brescia, Torino, Udinese in Italy and Levante in Spain. Albanian national was his first experience with a national team, which proved to be very successful.
