Albania exhibition in Germany, Kumbaro: Art connects Albanians with Germans

 Albania presented the first exhibition of painting and drawing at the premises of the Parliament of the federal state of NRW, Germanz. Part of this exhibition were evidence of contemporary History and Albanian art, with 43 full works. This event is attended by high personalities of politics and culture, the President of the Parliament of the State of NRW, Carina Godecke, Speaker Ilir Meta and Minister of Culture, Mirela Kumbaro. Godecke said that Albania for many Germans "is a blank spot on the map". "Although the German-Albanian relations are close partnership, there is still much room for improvement. Thus, we can build bridges of cooperation in culture, "said the president.


 Culture Minister Mirela Kumbaro said that the language of art and culture is the language that connects Albanians and Germans. While answered to Godecke saying: "We have come here to fill this white plase with bright colors. The white spots of misunderstanding between cultures makes us more committed to work and promote the culture and here, in the heart of Europe. We believe that such events will take the right direction after the cultural engagement signed a few days ago in Berlin between the two governments".

While speaker Ilir Meta said that it was a pleasure and privilege with the Albanian national holiday occasion invited Parliament found the federal state of NRW.

Exhibition on the occasion of the Albanian national holiday was part of the activities organized in this land, under the motto "Albanian November in the state of NRW". The exhibition titled "Albania through the eyes of the generation of artists 1912 - 2015" and will remain open until 4 December.
