Special guests and a group of Arberesh artists will present a living testimony of the preservation and cultivation of the Arbereshi cultural heritage. One of Italy’s most active Arbereshi communities, “Kamastra”, under the auspices of Fernanda Pugliese, will perform on this special and uniting day for all Albanians.expo 2
The activities will feature the reading of selected pieces and excerpts from magazines and novels by Arberesh author and researcher Fernanda Pugliese, published by Mnamon, Milano. The events include also presentation of the new Talking Dictionary of the Arberesh language by Prof. Fernanda Pugliese and Prof. Giovanni Agresti from The University of Teramo.
A concert of an Arbereshi trio will follow.
Antonella Pelilli is one of most iconic and famous singers to represent Arbereshi culture in the commune of Montecilfone. Antonella Pelilli was picked to perform for Pope Francis during his Molise visit. Pelilli represented her country on the Columbus Day in New York in 2004.ekspo 3
Pasquale Capobianco, guitarist and composer, will perform along with his historic Italian progressive rock band Osanna. He is known for composing soundtrack to many documentary and short films.
Max Fuschetto, an Italian composer, will join the group of Arberesh artists./ata/
