Sixth grade history book in Serbia emphasises that the Albanians are native people in the Balkans and Serbians seized their lands.
Belgrade media is somehow shocked, calling the text as scandalous.
The book is published bu the Institute of Educational books, authored by Rade Mihaljcic, professor of the Philosophy Faculty at the University of Belgrade. He is also a member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
Among other, the text states that the Slavic people are immigrants. "Albanians are indigenous people, descendants of the Illyrians".
