Illegal mosque in Prishtina closed under the investigations for terrorism


During anti-terror operation where 40 Kosovars are arrested under the suspicion of being a part of terrorist group ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) and Al-Kaida in Syria - "Xhabhatu Al-Nusra", Kosovo Police closed down the Mosque near "Termokos".

This Mosque operates under the funds of a Peja businessmen, its activities take place in a public venture managed by the businessmen Selim Selimi, Vetevendosje's deputy brother, Rexhep Selimi. 


How this Mosque functions?

In a research conducted by Express, the activities of this Mosque take place in "Auto-Prishtina", a car wash venture, managed by Islam Selimi, brother of Vetevendosja deputy, Rexhep Selimi.

The lecturer at this Mosque is Imam Bedri Robaj, Express reports.

"Wahabism is an invented term, invented to damage Islam," the Imam used to say to hundreds of young people.

"At the beginning few boys asked for this space in order to store the aids for the poor. Last Ramadan I gave the space for free, but later they started to pray and increase their demands," says Selimi for Express.

The space that the Mosque uses in use is approximately 200 m square.

"I have signed a contract with a boy whose name is Fatos. He runs a business for car rent 'Tosi'," Selimi said./Express/- Oculus News
