The Council of the city of Saranda approved today the establishment of the bust of former US Sekeretares of State Hillary Clinton at main square of the city. The decision was made after the President of the Municipality of Saranda Floriana Koka, in the honor of her support for the Albanians.
The bust is the work of sculptor Idriz Balani. City councilors of southern Albania praised the contribution of Hillary Clinton about the Albanian issue and unanimously approved the proposal.
In Albania and Kosovo in recent years are placed busts of American popular figures.Besides the bust of President Wilson in Tirana and the bust of President Bill Clinton in Pristina, a bust of President George Bush is set in Fushe Kruje in honor of his visit to this small town.
Meanwhile in Fier is located a bust of the diplomat Richard Holbrooke.
