| Official press statement issued by The Pan-Albanian League (Lidhja Mbarëshqiptare) announcing its transition into a political movement following an Assembly vote on October 31, 2026. |
The League aims to build a new, inclusive political alternative by bringing together individuals with integrity and civic courage who are willing to assume public responsibilities based on transparency, clear rules and democratic decision-making.
The movement also expressed its readiness to cooperate with individuals, civic initiatives and political forces that have not been compromised by the Rama–Berisha system, provided they share its democratic principles and commitment to change. It stressed, however, that such cooperation would not come at the expense of its independence, identity or core principles.
The Pan-Albanian League argues that genuine political change cannot be achieved simply by replacing leaders while preserving the same model of governance. Instead, it believes the country needs to develop a new political culture founded on meritocracy, responsibility, accountability and the rule of law.
"What unites us is stronger than what divides us," the organization declared, reaffirming its commitment to continuing its political activity.
