Albania U-21 to Face Ukraine in October Friendly

Albania’s U-21 national team is continuing its preparations for the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, with the Albanian Football Federation reaching an agreement with the Ukrainian Football Association for a friendly match.

Albania U-21 will face Ukraine U-21 on October 5, 2026, in Debrecen, Hungary. The kick-off time will be announced at a later date.

The match is part of Albania’s preparation program for EURO 2027, a tournament in which Albania will participate as one of the host nations.

The friendly against Ukraine will provide the Red and Blacks with another important opportunity to test the squad and continue preparations for one of European football’s major youth tournaments.

It will not be the first meeting between the two sides. In their most recent encounter, played at Elbasan Arena in November last year, Albania U-21 secured a 2–0 victory over Ukraine U-21.
