Albania Protests: 82th Day in Tirana as Thousands Demand Edi Rama’s Resignation

 Protests in Tirana continued on Tuesday evening, marking the 82th consecutive day of demonstrations against Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Protesters initially gathered at Skanderbeg Square before marching toward Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, eventually reaching the Prime Minister’s Office.

Calls for Rama’s Resignation

In front of the government headquarters, demonstrators renewed their calls for Rama’s resignation, alongside demands for the removal of the current political establishment and the creation of a technical government.

At the end of the speeches, protesters marched through the capital, leaving the word “Resignation” written on the boulevard as a symbolic political message.

Participants said they would continue the demonstrations and would not abandon their demand for the prime minister to step down.
