Lezhë, Albania — The Municipality of Lezhë has ranked first in Albania for the implementation of public investments during the first six months of 2026, according to data from the Ministry of Finance.
announced that the municipality reached a 76% implementation rate for its planned public investments during the first half of the year, placing Lezhë at the top of the national ranking.According to Ndreu, the result reflects the municipality's management of local finances and its efforts to transform public funds into concrete investments and services for citizens.

In a statement, Mayor Pjerin Ndreu described Lezhë as being at the top of the country's financial and public investment performance.
He said the 76% figure is evidence of what he described as serious and responsible work in managing local finances and implementing the municipality's objectives.
Ndreu also said the results provide motivation for the municipality to continue with additional projects and investments across Lezhë and the surrounding areas.
“The results motivate us to do even more. We move forward, with work, responsibility and commitment for Lezhë,” Ndreu said.
The municipality's reported performance is based on figures attributed to the Ministry of Finance for the January–June 2026 period.
