Fadil Zendeli Begins Term as North Macedonia’s Ambassador to Denmark After Presenting Credentials to King Frederik X

 COPENHAGEN — Fadil Zendeli, the Republic of North Macedonia’s new ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, has officially begun his diplomatic mandate after presenting his credentials to King Frederik X of Denmark on August 26, 2026.

The formal ceremony took place at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen, followed by a meeting between Ambassador Zendeli and King Frederik X. Zendeli’s wife, Shkendije Zendeli, also attended the meeting.
  

According to Zendeli, the discussions focused on the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between North Macedonia and Denmark, as well as opportunities to further strengthen friendly ties between the two countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on current regional and international developments, along with opportunities to share experiences in areas of common interest and mutual priority.

Zendeli described the meeting with King Frederik X as an important opportunity to deepen cooperation and further advance relations between North Macedonia and Denmark.

Fadil Zendeli, who is of Albanian origin, previously served in North Macedonia’s political and diplomatic spheres and now represents the country in Copenhagen.
