BUDVA, Montenegro — A group of Israeli tourists was brutally attacked by more than 10 young men in the coastal city of Budva, leaving one victim with a broken jaw and another unconscious, according to testimony given to Israeli public broadcaster KAN News.

According to his account, the group of attackers verbally abused the tourists before kicking, punching, and throwing chairs at them.
"More than 10 young men insulted us, kicked us, and attacked us with objects," one of the victims told KAN News.
The attack left one member of the group with a fractured jaw, while another lost consciousness after being severely beaten. The victims said they had no prior confrontation with the attackers and insisted the assault occurred without any apparent reason.
Budva is one of Montenegro's best-known tourist destinations, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year with its beaches, nightlife, and historic Old Town. It is also a popular destination for Israeli tourists during the summer season.
In recent years, Israeli investment in real estate along Montenegro's Adriatic coast has also increased significantly.
The assault marks the second reported incident involving Israeli tourists in Montenegro in recent weeks. In a separate case in the town of Plav, Israeli visitors reported being harassed by a man who allegedly shouted insults and accused them of "killing children" and committing genocide.
Montenegrin authorities have not yet released detailed information regarding the Budva attack or announced whether any suspects have been arrested.
