Eight people were injured in a multi-vehicle traffic accident that occurred on Saturday morning on Kosovo's Ibrahim Rugova Highway, authorities have confirmed.

According to Kosovo Police, the crash involved six vehicles. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, where the injured received initial medical assistance before being transported to the Emergency Department in Prizren.
Among those injured was a pregnant woman, who also received immediate medical treatment. Officials have not reported any life-threatening injuries.
Hekuran Veçgishti, head of the Emergency Department in Prizren, said all eight injured individuals were taken to hospital and are in stable and improving condition.
Police units assigned to the highway responded to the scene and have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the collision.
