Albania U-17 Women's Team Drawn Against Ireland, Kosovo and Azerbaijan in UEFA Euro 2027 Qualifiers

The Albania U-17 women's national team has learned its opponents for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Under-17 European Championship 2027.

During the draw held at the headquarters of UEFA, the Albanian side, coached by Cyme Lulaj, was placed in Group B1 alongside Ireland, Kosovo and Azerbaijan.

Albania will once again compete in League B during the opening phase of the qualification campaign. The objective for the young Albanian squad will be to secure promotion to League A, which would allow them to compete at a higher level in the second qualifying round on the road to the UEFA Women's U-17 European Championship 2027.

The venue for the mini-tournament has not yet been determined. The host nation will be selected through an agreement between the four participating football associations: the Albanian Football Association, the Football Federation of Kosovo, the Football Association of Ireland and the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan.

The draw presents an important opportunity for Albania's emerging young talents, who will be aiming to make a strong start and continue the development of women's football in the country by competing for a place among Europe's higher-ranked U-17 national teams.
