All candidate properties must be free of legal encumbrances and suitable for long-term diplomatic use. The evaluation of offers will be carried out by a Special Commission, composed of representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, the Directorate of Government Services, the National Authority for the Security of Classified Information, and the State Advocacy Office.
The commission will be responsible for reviewing offers, overseeing negotiations, and proposing the winning bid.
Following the signing of the purchase agreement, the Albanian Embassy will proceed with the required payments and register the property in accordance with United Kingdom legislation. The entire cost of the acquisition will be covered by the budget of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
The move is aimed at strengthening Albania’s diplomatic presence in the United Kingdom and ensuring appropriate infrastructure for diplomatic and consular services.
