On the morning of Thursday, May 2nd, Carabinieri from Castiglione delle Stiviere (MN) and Salò executed a pre-trial detention order issued by the investigating judge of Mantova against two individuals. These men, both of Albanian nationality, were tracked down and apprehended at a residence in Soiano del Lago, which they were using as a logistical base, local media reports.

According to investigators, the suspects are believed to be responsible for a series of thefts carried out at well-known chain stores, such as Trony, in the Brescia area, as well as in the provinces of Mantua and Vicenza.

The investigations have reconstructed the modus operandi of the gang, which always involved meticulous planning and reconnaissance. Authorities are also looking into whether the gang consisted of additional members.

The successful operation demonstrates the effectiveness of collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies in combating organized crime. It also serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of communities, as authorities remain vigilant in their pursuit of justice.

The arrest of these individuals sends a strong message that criminal activities will not be tolerated, and those responsible will be held accountable under the law. As investigations continue, authorities are determined to uncover any remaining elements of the criminal network and bring them to justice, further bolstering public confidence in the justice system.
