Tirana residents express the significance of local elections to them

 89% of Tirana residents are aware that they will vote to elect the mayor on May 14.

8.9% of capital residents are aware of elections but do not know when they will be held, and 2% are unaware of local elections.

56.95 Tirana residents responded that local elections are important when asked by "Barometer" in Euronews Albania how important they are to them.

Local elections are very important to 23.6% of the people who live in the capital.

In the meantime, local elections are unimportant to 13% of people living in the capital, and the elections for mayor are unimportant to 5.5% of people living in Tirana.

18.8 percent of people, men and 18.1 percent of people, are of the opinion that elections are in no way significant.

The data show that elections are more important to Tirana's elderly than to the rest of the city's residents.

If we look at the age groups of those who don't think local elections are important, 22.8 percent are between the ages of 18 and 24, 20.4 percent are between the ages of 25 and 34, 21.8 percent are between the ages of 35 and 44, 21.8 percent are between the ages of 45 and 54, and 12.6 percent are between the ages of 55 and 64 and 9.9 percent are between the ages of 65 and 75.

42.2 percent of citizens do not identify themselves as political, 17.7 percent are DP voters, and 9.9 percent are SP voters.
