The recent action against a widespread cocaine network that was led by three Albanians was the subject of an article in the Italian newspaper Il Giorno. We remind you that the Albanian, Italian, and other authorities' operation resulted in the capture of over 4 million ALL and the arrest of 43 individuals.

According to Il Giorno, this group's wiretapping led to the capture of Rovena Voda, a former deputy minister. After accepting bribes and a crate of fish to hire a ministry employee, the latter was found guilty of corruption and given a sentence of 15 months in prison.

In addition, a female prosecutor in Albania is said to have been arrested as a result of this gang's wiretapping.

The perpetrators are shown in action as they prepare the doses and reveal some of the methods they employ to conceal it in footage released by the Guardia di Finanza during the operation that defeated the gang of drug traffickers importing drugs from Albania.

One of the organization's leaders teaches a young trafficker how to cut heroin and prepare it for sale in video interviews.

The gang used the now-seized laboratories in the Cremona and Milan provinces as a base to transform the raw product into doses that were ready to be sold, according to the findings of the investigations.

The gang used a variety of methods to conceal drugs, including modifying automobiles. In fact, they concealed the drug blocks in pockets in the cars' fenders that were nearly impossible to see.
