A 44-year-old man was arrested this Saturday after he was caught transporting 24 illegal immigrants.
Korçë police investigated the case for 1 week and then arrested the resident of Fier on the Korçë-Pogradec road axis.
The operation took place in the vicinity of the village of Leshnica, where the 44-year-old man was moving with the "Fiat" van, in the direction of Tirana, 24 illegal immigrants, who were promised passage to EU countries in return for a reward.
