Kosovo has banned Russian citizen Daria Aslamova from entering its territory, for whom many countries have confirmed that she was engaged in espionage for Russia's military intelligence.

The news was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs in Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, through a post on social networks.

Svechla emphasized that Aslamov acted as a journalist and participated in the fighting in Ukraine by propagandizing the Russian occupation.

The arrest of the Russian citizen at the border point in the north of Kosovo comes on the same day after the border surveillance unit in Zubin Potok was attacked 10 times with firearms while it was deploying a patrol boat in Lake Ujman.

While, a few days ago, tensions were caused in the North of Kosovo due to the decision to implement the reciprocity of license plates and identity cards for the Serbs of the North.
