The Ambassador of Great Britain to Albania Alastair King-Smith held a meeting with the General Director of the State Police, Gladis Nano.

Through a press release, the British embassy divulges details of the meeting, where it is emphasized that the two officials agreed to act as soon as possible in response to criminals who are exploiting young Albanians who are traveling to the United Kingdom illegally.

"We expressed our shared determination to stop the flow of illegal immigrants to the UK and Europe.

We discussed the reality that awaits everyone who arrives on UK shores. Illegal immigrants cannot secure legal jobs. They will soon return to Albania and will never be able to travel to the UK again.

All those people and their families who may be tempted to travel to Britain should not fall prey to the propaganda of crime", said Ambassador Alastair King-Smith.

"We discussed the realities for those arriving on UK’s shores - they cannot secure a legal job and will soon be sent back to Albania and not be able to travel to UK ever again.
