In the presence of a large number of visual art lovers, the Gallery "Desiderio" in the center of Vienna, on Friday, April 22, 2022, opened the joint exhibition of two Albanian artists Ben Kamili from Tetovo and Artan Shabani from Vlora. With a very deep and significant speech on the occasion of the opening, the art historian, the German Dr. Wilhelm Ziehr, highly appreciated the works of painters that were displayed on the walls of the gallery, but also those that the authors have in their treasures and studios.
Ben and Artan are connected not only by the same year of birth but also by the beautiful, the unspoken in words, the painted, the secret, the harmony of color, the depth of imagination, the muse, etc. That is why the exhibition is called "The power of color", ie. in their works there is an explosion of colors, their inner development attractively reveals the feelings and ideas of the authors, while the motive is different and brings us images of everyday life, impressionism, abstraction, eroticism, landscape, etc. Some paintings present different Albanian environments, shores, and rivers, but also views from different places of the world, where the authors have found their inspiration. The presence of the woman is also a substantial element of the works, where she appears in various acts, beautiful, stylish and romantic, and artistic features. Also, the greenery, the flowers of the plant world, the living objects, the huts, etc. are an amazing match. The works speak of an aesthetic taste and an elevated creative quality of the two painters.
