Albania with 4 absences against Poland, Cikalleshi comes out positive with COVID

 Albania will have some important absences in the match against Poland that will be played on Tuesday in "Air Albania".

One of them is the striker Sokol Cikalleshi who will be absent after he tested positive in the tampon tests performed by the National Team on Monday.

After the analysis, Cikalleshi left the collection to start the quarantine and did not participate in the training session. Except for him, all the other players and technical staff have turned out to be negative.

Coach Edy Reja will have four absences in the challenge against Poland and more specifically: Bekim Balaj and Berat Gjimshiti are injured, Endri Çekiçi is disqualified and Sokol Cikalleshi.

Berat Gjimshiti, who suffered an injury to his left forearm in the match against Hungary had surgery in Turin, Italy.

The red and black defender is expected to resume training after 7-10 days and according to forecasts will be ready to play official matches after 30 days.

The match against Poland is valid for the qualifiers of the World Cup "Qatar 2022" and the result will be decisive for the ranking in Group I.

Currently, Albania is in second place with 15 points, while Poland is one point less in third place. At the top is England with 19 points.

In case the Red and Blacks will maintain this position until the end when there are three matches left, then they will play in the play-off stage for participating in the world Cup.
