 Poland ranks second in the EU as a cheap country for foreign tourists leaving behind only Portugal for hotel and restaurant prices. According to the Polish media, there is an even cheaper country and this is Albania, which is beautiful, free, and without Covid tests. Based on official statistics, among the countries that have had the highest inflows of foreign nationals to Albania this summer season after the pandemic is Poland.

The beautiful nature, the crystal clear sea, but also the cultural and historical riches of Albania in recent years have attracted a large number of tourists from Poland, local media report.

A large part of Polish tourists come to Albania through tourist packages, while others also come by land with buses or their vehicles. In this way they have the opportunity to walk in different cities of our country, visiting in addition to the beaches also various cultural monuments. Various Polish travel agencies have promoted destinations such as Ksamil, Saranda and Durres, but also natural beauty such as the Alps or the Shala River.

Polish travel agencies have offered packaged offers where all meals are included or only hotel and breakfast, starting from 280 euros and reaching up to 500 euros for 9 days stay.

"Beautiful stone cities, wonderful natural landscapes, fantastic mountains and a pleasant capital. If you visit Albania, you can see all this," said Polish travel agencies.

"The Albanian coast is wonderful and Ksamil beach is already a world-famous treasure, but this place has much more to offer. "Here are some of the most beautiful places in the Balkans."

The first charter plane for this season landed in Rinas on June 14 from Katovica and was followed by tourists from Warsaw, Gdansk, Poznan.

Poles are one of the important organized tourism groups in the country, located mainly in the area of ​​Golem but also in Vlora or Saranda on arrival from Corfu.

The number of tourists from Poland fell by 81% in 2020 with the outbreak of the pandemic, recording a total of only 24.4 thousand while in 2019 there were 133 thousand tourists from Poland. This year, travel agencies hope that over 200 thousand Poles will visit our country.

"We are from Poland, this country is very beautiful, very attractive, very natural. Albania is very nice and for us it is very cheap."

"It is our first time in Albania and in this country, I like it very much, it is very beautiful, but I think that people should care more about this country."

Polish tourists also appreciate Albania for its traditional cuisine, untouched nature and monuments that are part of the heritage of European culture.
