Romania does not change its position on the recognition of Kosovo

Romanian Ambassador to Belgrade Silvia Davidou stated today that her country will not change its position on recognizing Kosovo's independence.

After the meeting with the chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for Kosovo Milovan Drecun, the Romanian diplomat said that for official Bucharest is acceptable only the solution that is at the same time acceptable for Serbia.

Her comments come a day after Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman called on the last five EU countries to recognize Kosovo's independence.

Cyprus, Spain, Romania, Greece and Slovakia have not yet recognized Kosovo's independence.
