Today, the flag of Kosovo was raised for the first time in the area of the peacekeeping mission complex, part of which is the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in Kuwait.
The news was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Kosovo and the General Staff of the KSF, through an announcement posted on Facebook. It expresses Kosovo's commitment to world peace and security.
"The flag of the Republic of Kosovo is raised for the first time in the peacekeeping mission of the KSF in Kuwait, as a member-state of the coalition in the Joint Operational Force for Duty.
Kosovo is committed to world peace and security. The KSF thanks the United States Army and the IOWA National Guard for the joint deployment", it is said in the announcement of the ministry.
