Serbian successful singer Edita Aradinović songstress says she's of Albanian origin

 Edita Aradinović is one of the most successful songstress in Serbia, but she is of Albanian origin. In the exclusive interview on a local TV she said that she is very happy and that it is an honor for her, that for the first time, she is giving an interview about Albania, which is also her origin.

She added that she has never been to Albania, but "I will definitely come as soon as the situation with Covid 19 gets calmed. The Albanian journalist who interviewed her Ermal Peçi said to her: "if you come to Albania, I will marry you", a statement that creates a pleasant atmosphere, while Edita he said with a laugh that "this is the best compliment she can get".

Meanwhile, Ermal asks her about her origin, which she has claimed is of Albania, at the peak of her career in Serbia. 

"Yes, I was born in Serbia, I grew up there and there are many Albanians living in Serbia. My father is from Kosovo, Prishtina, while my mother is half Egyptian. I have sung in Serbia in Serbian but I have good friends from Albania, artists, and actors".


Ermal asks to her if there was a cost for her accepting the Albanian origin. "No, I did not have any problems, at least until now and I hope and believe that I will not have in the future because I am an artist in my mind and brain. People love me and I love them."

Flori Mumajesi, Dafina Zeqiri, Loredana were some of the Albanian artists that Edita knew and even knew their songs. In this interview, she sang and spoke Albanian.
