New cases of COVID-19 victims and loss of life among patients being treated in the country's hospitals continue to be a concern in Albania.
During the last day there were 986 new cases of COVID-19 while 19 fatal cases of death were recorded.
Currently, 647 patients are being treated in covid hospitals in Tirana and three regional hospitals, 41 in intensive therapy, of which 9 patients are intubated.
Since the start of the pandemic, the number of victims has risen to 1775 people out of a total of 106 thousand people affected.
The number of active cases remains over 35 thousand people, where the vast majority of almost 23 thousand are in Tirana.
