Notice:

The Professional Football League, after being acquainted with the legal changes for the sport so far, regrets that these changes do not provide solutions to the requests of the clubs of the Superior Category and do not fulfill the promises made by the Albanian Government at the table on March 11, 2019 .

In these conditions, the Professional Football League requests from the Government and the Assembly of Albania:

1. Adoption of a new law on sponsorships according to the form proposed by the football community, as the changes proposed by the government have no real effect on the football economy.

2. Inclusion of all football economic activities in VAT reduced by 6%, such as agriculture and tourism, and not only sports infrastructure.

3. Reduction of fines and interest-arrears for arrears of fiscal obligations to avoid the financial collapse of clubs.

4. Extension of the effects of the income tax exemption for footballers from 2 to 10 years.
