Drug gang destroyed in Catania, 25 arrested including Albanians

 A criminal gang in Catania, Italy, which collaborated with the mafia organization Cosa Nostra, has been destroyed. The Guardia di Finanza's action has been finalized with the arrest of 25 people, including 2 Albanians.

The organization trafficked cocaine, marijuana and hashish, which is said to have come from Albania. This gang operated in Southern Italy. Twenty-five detainees appeared before the court, 21 of whom were let in custody, while four were placed under house arrest, as the Italian and Albanian media are reporting in these moments.

As part of Operation codenamed "Shoes", Italian police seized 4kg of cocaine, 52kg of marijuana, and 25kg of hashish and many weapons.
