Dentists say prices in Tirana could rise due to additional COVID-19 costs

 The allowance of people and cars to move without authorization until 5.30 pm in Albania brought population and traffic to the capital this Monday, reminding us of everyday life before Covid-19 appeared.

This is the first time since the beginning of March when people and drivers with personal cars could move freely in Tirana.

Even pedestrians had filled the streets this Monday. Few wore gloves and masks, the rest walked undisturbed on the streets, and in many cases without caring about the physical distance from others.

The dentist, Alketa Meçaj, says that this Monday she treated only urgent and painful cases of patients who during this time could not receive services, as a result of Covid-19. She tells to Oculus News that everything is organized on schedule, avoiding gatherings and queuing.

The dentist tells us that in order to protect clients from Covid-19, she has incurred additional costs, and this may lead to an increase in the fee for clients.
