Ambulance went off-road killing patient inside in Lushnje-Tirana hiway

 An ambulance vehicle moving towards Tirana had an accident on Monday afternoon on the Fier-Lushnje Hiway, while the patient inside died.

The ambulance after colliding with the metal barriers of the highway rolled over several times and in these moments the patient got the fatal hit.

The ambulance, driven by the driver Niko Hila, 55, went off-road near the village of Krutje, killing the 62-year-old M.M., inside as well as seriously injuring the driver.

The investigation team at the scene is working to fully clarify the circumstances of this accident.
