President Ilir Meta has made a strong statement at the OPINION show with the journalist Blendi Fevziu, where according to him, the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama serves the Serbian lobby in Washington.

This is a strong statement when the head of state accuses the chief of the Albanian Government of working for the interests of another state.

According to Meta, the Serbian lobby used Rama for riots, and the head of the state was convinced about this.

"Rama serves the pro-Serbian lobby in Washington. The Serbian lobby in Washington used Rama for riots. I say this with conviction and the time will show this. He wants conflict. Why should he demolish the Theater that way? The Serbian and pro-Russian lobbies in Washington are interested in civil strife and destabilization in Albania. I have a lot of evidence and documents that I will make public in due course. The SMS that was made public today will seem worthless in relation to them. I will speak in the future and at the right time," said Meta.

Meta said that the elections will not be postponed even if the opposition refuses to participate.
