Albanian Farmers complain in Lushnje about cherries price abuse when go to consumer
Farmers in the Darsia area of Lushnja have been marketing their cherries for 5 days.

Unlike other years, according to them, there is not much production, due to atmospheric conditions. However, what farmers are most interested in right now is the selling price in the market, as are the traders who rule about the prices to the consummator while farmers who are unable to do anything just are forced to obey.

Farmers point out that with the amount of production this year, with the selling price they fail to make the money they have spent, but what irritates the farmers is the indifference of the state.

Farmers ask the market control authorities to avoid price abuse and exercise controls, which specifically for cherries this season varies from 300 (around € 2.5) by the farmer, up to 700 ALL (around € 5.5) per consumer.
